REFUNDED PAYMENT UNDER OP "ENVIRONMENT 2007-2013"

European Commission informs Bulgaria that payments from EU funds under the Operational Programme "Environment" for the 2007-2013 programming period will be refunded. The Commission will launch a payment of 166 million. Euros from the European Cohesion Fund and 74 mln. Euros from the European Regional Development Fund.
After a provided audit in Bulgaria in October 2014, the Commission services have concluded that all proposed corrective measures have been implemented. This will significantly reduce the risk of errors and irregularities in the use of funds in the future.
